Upstate has many positions available for people with clinical, revenue cycle, healthcare information management and/or education experience to join the Information Technology team. Many positions are dedicated to the new electronic health records project.
“Individuals in ‘application coordinator’ roles will work directly with end-users to determine current and future state workflows in preparation for the EHR build. These individuals will work with ‘project managers’ to build, test and implement the new system.
“Individuals in ‘training coordinator’ roles will implement and lead the education and training plans for the EHR project. These individuals will prepare training materials, develop schedules and track all training efforts.”

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, preferably in education, computer science, healthcare administration, health information management, business, finance, nursing or an allied health profession. Associate’s degrees or diploma registered nursing with relevant experience may be considered.
