Join Leslie Kohman MD and a panel of Upstate experts for an update on the diagnosis, treatment and survivorship or lung cancer, at the 10th annual “Cancer in the Crosshairs” seminar Saturday, Nov. 3.
The presentation is free, but seating is limited, so reserve your seat by calling 315-464-8668. Refreshments and free pulmonary function testing will take place from 8 to 9 a.m., followed by the program, which ends at 11 a.m. It will be held at the OASIS & HealthLink Learning Center, 6333 Route 298 in East Syracuse. Parking is also free.
Kohman, a thoracic surgeon, is director of the Upstate Cancer Center and the Thoracic Oncology Program.
Presenters include:
Ernest Scalzetti MD, professor of radiology, who will speak about screening for early detection of lung cancer;
Barb Robinson MD, assistant professor of surgery, on the subject of surgery for early discovery of lung cance; and
Aliya Hafeez MD, assistant professor of psychiatry, on breathing easy with a lung cancer diagnosis.
