Diabetes Forum will focus on technology

The 13th annual Central New York Diabetes Forum takes place 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 at Upstate University Hospital’s Community Campus. Learn about diabetes and telephone apps, the newest insulin pump features and blood glucose meters.

Speakers include faculty from Upstate’s Joslin Diabetes Center: Dr. Ruth Weinstock, MD, Dr. Rachel Hopkins, MD, registered dietitian Diana Stuber and nurse Kate O’Brien, a certified diabetes educator.

This free community event requires pre-registration because seating is limited. Call 315-464-8668. Parking during the event is also free, in the open lots. Enter the “service entrance” from Broad Road.
